A terrible accident involving a heavy truck resulted in the death of a pregnant woman and injuries to her defenseless two-year-old child. The incident occurred in Magboro, a serene community in Ogun State's Obafemi Owode Local Government Area. 

According to data gathered by PUNCH Metro, the horrific accident occurred when a truck with the license plate TTD-643ZY slammed into the busy market in Magboro. The terrifying incident happened as a result of a brake failure that rendered the driver helpless to avert catastrophe.

Prior to this sorrowful occurrence, the victim, a pregnant woman, had ventured to the market with the intention of purchasing essential foods. An unnamed eyewitness described the tragic series of events, describing how the mother bravely attempted to protect her young child from the looming danger. She was ultimately killed by the merciless truck as it plowed down on her as a result of the clothing she was wearing, which prevented her from fleeing and caused her to stumble.

Another eyewitness described how a motorcyclist, whose two-wheeler got caught underneath the truck, managed to barely escape. The pregnant woman narrowly escaped a terrible fate when the motorcyclist managed to leap clear of his vehicle in a last- ditch attempt to survive. Significant attempts were made to callthe appropriate authorities to the scene after the catastrophe. A thorough report would be provided after the rescue efforts were finished, according to Florence Okpe, the Federal Road Safety Corps' spokesperson for the Ogun State Sector Command.
